This policy explains what personal information the Flowcast website (riverdial.com) handles. Flowcast is operated by the Flowcast site operator. Short version: we do not run user accounts, do not set cookies, do not show ad trackers, and do not sell personal information.

What we collect

• Server and network logs. The site is served through Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery). Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL and timestamps in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
• Information you choose to send us, for example if you email us once a contact address is published. We use it only to reply and to run the site.

Cookies and analytics

Flowcast itself sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking. The only browser storage we are aware of is none.

This site does not currently run any analytics or advertising scripts. If that changes, this page will be updated first.

Email newsletter

Email signup is not open yet and this site currently collects no email addresses. When it opens, this section will describe the provider and how your address is handled before any form goes live.

Third-party links

Pages link to USGS, state agencies and, in the future, guides, outfitters and retailers. When you click through to another site, that site's own privacy policy and cookies apply. Some outbound links may be paid or affiliate links; they are labelled (see advertising and affiliate disclosure). We do not send your personal information to USGS: river data is fetched by our server, not by your browser.

Your choices and rights

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict processing. Because we collect almost no personal information, there is usually little to provide, but you can make a request through the contact page (a contact address is being set up).

Children

Flowcast is a general-audience information site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, for anything affecting email subscribers, notify them by email.
